The Wakei-ita board is used with chabako. They are the same size as the chabako box, and come in a variety of finishes:
桐 Paulownia (unlacquered)
桑 Mulberry (unlacquered)
柿合塗 溜色 Kakiawase-nuri, Tameiro (maroon color with grain showing)
真塗 Shinnuri (smooth black- formal)
