The Kizue board set is used with chabako. This board set is made up of 4-boards tied together.When folded, the set is the same size as the chabako box. They come in a variety of finishes:
桐 Paulownia (unlacquered)
桑 Mulberry (unlacquered)
柿合塗 溜色 Kakiawase-nuri, Tameiro (maroon color with grain showing)
真塗 Shinnuri (smooth black- formal)
