Chabako box is used for travel or outdoor tea ceremony. You can put everything you need inside, except the hot water. This chabako is made of mulberry wood with a slightly darker lacquer finish. It is an above average piece, and we got a great buy on it because it was a floor sample at the dogu wholesaler in Kyoto. It is an absolutely beautiful piece!
