Chawan: Vintage Oribe Ware

This beautiful chawan (tea bowl) was made in the oribe style, a more than four hundred year old tradition from the central part of Japan. The bowl is very well made and in perfect condition. It was probably made about 20 to 30 years ago. It is signed, but the potter’s signature is not recognized.
