Product Description
Hagi-ware is known for thick glazes, which are not fully melted, thus leaving areas of unmelted glaze, and often displaying a distinctive crackle or sizing. This beautiful bowl has a wonderful orange crackle glaze with areas of white glaze still present.
This chawan is an overly large bowl (6-1/8" diameter, 3-1/4" high). It has a beautiful texture, but is a bit large for regular practice. Call or email Tea Dogu if you want better pictures.
