Kuromoji: A small pick made of black willow wood, and served with moist tea sweets. The kuromoji is used to move one of the sweets to the guest's kaishi paper before eating the sweet. These picks are designated as number 4, and are 12 cm long. They come 30 to the box.
Kuromoji are usually soaked in water and patted dry before using. They may warp, but soaking them in water and gently bending them to reshape will usually solve this.
