Mizusashi: Seto, Sansui

This is a cold water container called a mizusashi. It is made in the Seto area of Japan, The design incorporates a brown illustration of grass in nature, which is referred to as Sansui.

Dimensions are 4-15/16 inches (12.5 cm) in diameter at top, by 5-1/2 inch (13.9 cm) tall, excluding the lid.
