Mizusashi: Chinese Red Pattern

This is a vintage Japanese Mizusashi (fresh water container); it was made in Kyoto about 40-45 years ago. It is decorated with a stylish Aka-e design, which is a Japanese design-drawing that is predominantly red. It comes with a black lacquered lid.
