Description

This traditional style of pottery was introduced by potters brought from the Joseon Dynasty during the Japanese invasions of Korea. It features a dark glaze placed under a white glaze which has been fired with straw. The two glazes run together and give a feeling of opposites.

Dimensions: 17.0 cm dia. x 14.4 cm ht. 12.5 cm mouth opening
