Toro (Lantern): Traditional Yukimi Lantern, 30-Inches

The Yukimi or snow lantern is one of the most traditional of Japanese garden lanterns. It is known for its wide roof and legged base. These lanterns are small and often used next to water elements. Their low wide-legged style enables them to be placed in almost any position with ease. The windows in this Yukimi-Gata are decorated with wooden lattices, to add textural contrast and beauty. The lightbox in this lantern is round, and the lines are of an older style.

Special shipping is needed for heavier items (over 100 lbs.). They must be sent by truck, as they do not qualify for UPS, FedEx or postal rates. The shipping cost is typically around $300-$500 in the US. This amount will be charged on orders.  When the actual shipping cost is determined, any over-payment will be refunded.
