Tsukubai: Tetsubachi, Stone Water Basin, Gray Granite, 18-Inch

The Tetsubachi basin is another traditional basin design. The small vertical height of this granite basin is on purpose: to cause the user to crouch down and humble oneself when washing or drinking water.

This style tsukubai is available in three sizes: 12-inches wide by 6 tall; 18-inches wide by 9 tall; 24-inches wide by 12 tall.  Other accessories for a proper installation are also available: river stones, underground reservoir, water spout, water ladle.

Special shipping is needed for heavier items (over 100 lbs.). They must be sent by truck, as they do not qualify for UPS, FedEx or postal rates.
