Tsukubai: Zenne-Gata, Stone Water Basin, Gray Granite, 12-Inch

The Zenne-Gata basin (sometimes called a Kosen Basin) is styled into the shape of an antique coin with a square hole cut into the center to form the basin. There are carved Kanji characters in the top, which translate to: "I only learn to be content", by lord Tokugawa (mid 1600s). The square center cutout is actually part of each of the kanji characters that make up this saying.

This style tsukubai is available in two sizes: 12-inches wide by 6 tall; 18-inches wide by 9 tall.Other accessories for a proper installation are also available: river stones, underground reservoir, water spout, water ladle.

Special shipping is needed for heavier items (over 100 lbs.). They must be sent by truck, as they do not qualify for UPS, FedEx or postal rates.
